5 Tools To Finding A Stylist

Living in today's society a lot of things are built based on convenience. If I had a dollar for how many times I heard "It's so hard to find a hairstylist" I'd be rich. Here are 5 great ways to finding a stylist near you.

#1. SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is pretty much used as a resume these days. You want to see someone's work? Nine times out of ten it's on their social media. Try searching stylist on Instagram by using hashtags like #lahairstylist #phillyhairstylist, or whichever city you're in.

#2. SEARCH HAIR CARE WEBSITES

There are some websites that allow you to search for stylist that use their products. For example: Deva Curl and Olaplex. They both post names of stylists and where you can locate them. Some hair care websites even take it a step further and post the stylist level of certification.

#3. APPS APPS and more APPS

There's an App for almost anything. Priv and BeGlammed are two beauty apps that I'm familiar with. You simply download them on your device and create an account. Once your account is created and approved, you can search for a stylist that is available in your area. After a stylist accepts your request, they perform the service at your house. What's also great is, at the end of your service, you pay through the app, and can leave reviews.

#4. STYLESEAT AND YELP

StyleSeat and Yelp are both useful because they allow you to search based on your location and the specialty you want. They also provide reviews from previously users along with: hours of operation, location, and sometimes price list.

#5. YOUR STYLIST

Last bust certainly not least. Ask your stylist. If you know your going to be in a different city or your stylist is unavailable, ask them if they have a referral. Trust me most of the time we do.

Welp that's all I got for you today. Stick with me kid I'll take you places lol. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
